For organizations.

Step in. Slow down. You are in the right place.

From the moment you arrive, you will feel the difference. In the tranquil, intentional design. In the care our clinicians bring to every session. In the sense that someone here sees the full picture of your life.

Because a person does not exist in isolation. They live within a family. A school. A community.

A world they go home to every day.

And that is where healing has to hold.

A different model of care

Foundations Behavioral Health is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic providing evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and families across New Jersey.
Our model is designed for continuity—so that high-quality care remains within reach for as long as it is needed. We focus not only on the person in the room, but also on the context that shapes the contours of their life.

What we offer

Individual Therapy

Personalized, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, and adults—delivered in our Jackson office or online.*

Group Therapy

Carefully curated therapeutic groups, offered in partnership with organizations across New Jersey.

Integrated Care

Coordination with schools, agencies, and caregivers so care is connected across every part of a child or family’s life.
Our clinicians draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and systems-oriented therapy, thoughtfully matching their methods to the individual and family.
*Foundations also offers in-home counseling through IIC, a government-funded program providing in-home counseling to eligible families.

How Foundations is different

Community.

A Shared Responsibility
Mental health care is a communal effort. We open our clinical infrastructure to fellow nonprofits, so their therapeutic programs can operate, sustain themselves, and grow.
Collaboration Across Systems
Care does not stop at the therapy room door. We work in concert with schools, agencies, and caregivers to ensure that progress takes root in daily life.

Continuity.

A Family-Systems Lens
We see the individual within the family, and the family within the world they navigate. And we treat the whole picture.
Continuity Over Time
We prioritize enduring therapeutic relationships, so that care evolves with the people we serve rather than starting over with each new challenge.

Caliber.

Clinical Leadership
Every service is delivered by credentialed clinicians and guided by experienced clinical leadership, with an unwavering commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice.
Measurable Outcomes
We hold ourselves accountable to real-world results — setting goals, tracking progress, and seeking lasting change.

Is Foundations a licensed clinic?
Yes, Foundations is a licensed nonprofit outpatient mental health clinic operating in New Jersey, providing care through credentialed clinicians under clinical supervision.
What makes Foundations different from other clinics?
Most clinics treat the individual in the room. Foundations treats the individual within their family, and the family within the broader world they navigate, including schools, agencies, systems, community. Our model is built for the long term, with an emphasis on continuity, coordination, and care that holds beyond the therapy room.

We are equally intentional about the experience of care itself. Foundations is designed to feel different: we offer a calm, refined environment and a level of personal attention more often associated with private practice than a nonprofit clinic. Every family deserves both dignity and accessibility.

We do not work in isolation, but take an integrative approach to care. As appropriate and with consent, we partner with schools, agencies, and fellow nonprofits — because we know that strong outcomes require a strong network, and that the health of a family is inseparable from the health of the community around them.
How is Foundations funded?
Foundations is designed to be financially sustainable through Medicaid billing and private insurance reimbursement — not ongoing fundraising. This model allows us to prioritize quality of care, clinician retention, and responsible long-term growth, while freeing donor resources for the programs that need them most.
How does Foundations measure outcomes?
We hold ourselves accountable to measurable, real-world progress. Clinical oversight and best practices are built into our model at every level.
Who is behind Foundations?
Foundations was established by the leadership behind Bridges and Arches, bringing the same commitment to children, families, and community. It is designed to be self-sustaining, reducing reliance on donor funding while deepening the impact of The Families Project as a whole.
